Retreat Quilt

I posted photos of this nearly-finished quilt for Garden Blogger's Muse Day, January 1. Elizabeth Joy was interested in a copy of the pattern. So, I hope this works. I scanned it as a photo and have uploaded it here. :-)

The owner of our local quilt store has organized a quilting retreat in the Spring and Fall at a nearby campground with a central dining hall and several cabins. Attendees arrive after lunch on Saturday, quilt all day, enjoy an evening meal, quilt a little more, snooze in a cabin, and quilt on Sunday morning. We enjoy a breakfast and head home at lunch-time.

This was the pattern that was offered at the first retreat, May 2006.

It's easy, fun to do, and looks great! ;-)

Thank you! Thank you! This looks fun! I've got my printer making noises beside me and soon I'm going to have a print out!

Happy day!

elizabeth joy,
If you decide to use this pattern, you'll have to see if you can remember to let me know! :-)

This is a pretty quilt. How fun to go to a retreat. My lqs does retreats at Lake Tahoe, week long... not sure Hubby would appreciate me doing that at this point of our childrens' lives! lol It always sounds like so much fun though.

Theresa,
You would LOVE a retreat... just keep it on your list of things "to do!" We will have another one mid-May. I look forward to creating baby quilt #5! ;-)

Thank you so much, La-tea-dah! I'm now creating the binding from the variety of short strips of fabric that I used. Fortunately the quilting store still had some of the fabrics I'd run out of! ;-)
